Vindkraft og lokalsamfunn

Abstract

I denne bacheloroppgaven legger jeg frem hvordan fornybare energikilder kommer i konflikt med mennesker. Nærmere bestemt undersøker jeg hvordan vindkraftutbyggingen på Haramsøya har påvirket lokalsamfunnet. I 2020 ble det etablert en vindpark på Haramsøya som førte til stor uenighet i lokalbefolkningen. I oppgaven analyserer jeg hvilke argumenter som ble gitt for å etablere vindparken, hvem som var imot utbyggingen og deres argumenter, og ikke minst hvordan konflikten rundt utbyggingen har preget lokalsamfunnet. På Haramsøya har etableringen av vindparken ført til splittelse av lokalsamfunnet, bekymring for folkehelse til de som bor på øya og innbyggere har mistet tilliten til sentrale myndigheter. Arbeidet av dette prosjektet gikk ut på tekstanalyse, men også en befaring på stedet. Dette er et interessant tema og aktuelt i dag og det engasjerer folk. Både de som mener vi må bygge ut mer vindkraft for å nå det grønne skiftet og de som mener at vindkraftutbygging ødelegger naturen.

In this bachelor's thesis, I present how renewable energy sources come into conflict with people. More specifically, I investigate how the development of wind power on Haramsøya has affected the local community. In 2020, a wind farm was established on Haramsøya, which led to great disagreement among the local population. In the thesis I analyze which arguments were given to establish the wind farm, who was against the development and their arguments and not least how the conflict surrounding the development has affected the local community. On Haramsøya, the establishment of the wind farm has led to the division of the local community, concern for the public health of those who live on the island and residents have lost trust in central authorities. The work of this project consisted of text analysis, but also an on-site inspection. This is an interesting topic and relevant today and it engages people. Both those who think we need to develop more wind power to achieve the green shift and those who believe that wind power development destroys nature.
