Lyddesign i ungdomsteater

Abstract

I denne oppgaven har jeg tatt utgangspunkt i mitt arbeid som lydteknikker under produksjonen av forestillingen Defekt på ISAK Kultursenter. Denne forestillingen ble produsert i faget DRA2002 på Drama og Teater linjen hos NTNU Dragvoll. Det var en interaktiv vandreforestilling for ungdom der vi arbeidet med en fokusgruppe for å utvikle forestillingen. Som lydteknikker for denne forestillingen har jeg hatt ansvar for å designe lyden som ble brukt i forestillingen, planlegge dens funksjon og hvordan den påvirker publikumsopplevelsen. Jeg skal først drøfte hva devised teater var siden det var den teater metoden som ble tatt i bruk for å produsere forestillingen. Så skal jeg legge til rette for hvordan det tekniske utstyret ble satt opp og hvordan forestillingen ble avviklet. Til slutt skal jeg ta for meg et par utvalgte scener, hva som skjedde i dem, hvordan lyden var, hvorfor den var sånn og hva slags effekt dette skulle gi publikum.

In this thesis, I have taken as a starting point my work as a sound engineer during the production of the show Defekt at ISAK Kultursenter. This performance was produced in the subject DRA2002 on the Drama and Theater line at NTNU Dragvoll. It was an interactive walking performance for young people where we worked with a focus group to develop the performance. As the sound technician for this performance, I have been responsible for designing the sound used in the performance, planning its function and how it affects the audience experience. I will first discuss what devised theater was since it was the theater method that was used to produce the performance. Then I will arrange how the technical equipment was set up and how the performance was wound up. Finally, I will deal with a couple of selected scenes, what happened in them, what the sound was like, why it was like that and what kind of effect this should have on the audience.
