Ungdommens tematikk på scenen: Referansegrupper innenfor ungdomsteater

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven, som har tittelen Ungdommens tematikk på scenen: Referansegrupper innenfor ungdomsteater, omfatter bruken av referansegrupper under utviklingen av ungdomsteater. Oppgaven baserer seg på en produksjon som fant sted i starten av året 2023 med bruken av en referansegruppe satt sammen av elever fra en ungdomsskole. Gjennom oppgaven vil jeg redegjøre for hva ungdomsteater og egenskapt teater er, og gå igjennom hvor jeg arbeidet med referansegruppe og egenskapt teater. Metoden brukt for innhenting er deltakende observasjon da jeg var en aktiv deltaker i produksjonen. Gjennom oppgaven ønsker jeg å forklare og argumentere for hvorfor bruken av referansegrupper kan bidra til å forbedre ungdomsteater på måter kun et autentisk ungdomsperspektiv kan.

This bachelor's thesis, titled The youth's voice on stage: Referencegroups in youth theatre, embraces the use of reference groups in the development of youth theatre. The thesis is based on a production that took place in early 2023, utilising a reference group of students from a secondary school. Throughout the thesis, I will elucidate the concepts of youth theatre and devised theatre, and delve into my work with the reference group and devised theatre. The data collection method employed is participatory observation, as I actively participated in the production. In this thesis, I aim to discuss and explain how the use of reference groups can contribute to improving youth theatre in ways that only a youth perspective can provide.
