Bruken av retorikk i desinformasjon

Abstract

I denne oppgaven har jeg analysert hvordan en avsender kan bruke det retoriske i bilder for å kunne formidle og dekke for at noe er desinformasjon. Formålet for oppgaven er å skape et større overblikk av begrepet desinformasjon. Ved at jeg ønsker å vise til hvor enkelt det kan være å formidle desinformasjon, med å tenke på hvordan avsenderen spiller på følelsene til mottakeren. Jeg tar for meg bilde av Josef Stalin under Sovjetunionen sitt styre og bilde av piloten «Ghost of Kyiv» under krigen mellom Ukraina og Russland. Analysene som blir brukt til denne oppgaven, er semiotisk analyse og retorisk analyse. Disse analysene blir brukt for å dra frem tegn i bildene gjennom den semiotiske analysen og ser på disse tegnene gjennom en retorisk analyse for å se hvordan avsenderen spiller på følelser hos mottakeren med tanke på retorikk. Med dette så drar jeg inn hvordan manipulert informasjon blir produsert fra to forskjellige avsendere og hvordan disse har formulert informasjonen sin med å manipulere bilder.

In this assignment, I have analyzed how a sender can use rhetoric in images to convey and cover up that something is disinformation. The purpose of the assignment is to create a greater overview of the concept of disinformation. I want to show how easy it can be to convey disinformation, by thinking about how the sender plays on the feelings of the recipient. I consider the image of Josef Stalin during the Soviet Union's rule and the image of the pilot "Ghost of Kyiv" during the war between Ukraine and Russia. The analyzes used for this assignment are semiotic analysis and rhetorical analysis. These analyzes are used to bring out signs in the images through the semiotic analysis and look at these signs through a rhetorical analysis to see how the sender plays on the emotions of the recipient with a view to rhetoric. With this, I draw in how manipulated information is produced from two different senders and how they have formulated their information by manipulating images.
