Utfordringer med tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid i det forebyggende arbeidet og tidlig innsats

Abstract

Tidlig innsats og forebyggende arbeid har de siste årene fått et større fokus, gjennom blant annet den nye barnevernsloven og barnevernsreformen. Det forebyggende arbeidet og tidlig innsats er viktig for å hindre at utfordringene i hverdagen til barn og familier vokser seg til alvorlige problemer. Det vises til at det forebyggende arbeidet og tidlig innsats krever innsats fra flere tjenester og profesjoner. Det tverrprofesjonelle samarbeidet får betydning for å oppdage utsatte barn og familier, men også for å bidra til at barn og familie får den hjelpen de har behov for. Gjennom et godt tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid kan man sikre at barn og familier mottar helhetlige tjenestetilbud.

Problemstillingen for å belyse arbeidet med forebygging og tidlig innsats er: Hvilke utfordringer knyttet til tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid møter barnevernstjenesten i sitt forebyggende arbeid og tidlig innsats knyttet til de minste barna? For å undersøke problemstillingen er det brukt litteraturstudie som metode, og oppgaven har tatt utgangspunkt i norsk forskning. Formålet med oppgaven er å sette søkelyset mot hvilke utfordringer man kan møte på i et tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid, og vise hvorfor tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid er viktig for det forebyggende arbeidet og tidlig innsats. Oppgaven ser på betydningen mellom tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid og forebyggende arbeid og tidlig innsats. Det vises til ulike utfordringer knyttet til tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid, som videre vil påvirke arbeidet med forebygging og tidlig innsats. Utfordringene er mangel på kunnskap og kompetanse om hverandre, kapasitetsutfordringer, svak styring og ledelse og taushetspliktreglene. Oppgaven avsluttes med hvilke konsekvenser det vil ha for barn og familier når det er et dårlig tverrprofesjonelt samarbeid.

Early intervention and prevention work have received a greater focus in recent years, through, among other things, the new Child Welfare Act and Child Welfare Reform. Prevention work and early intervention are important to prevent the challenges in the everyday life of children and families from growing into serious problems. It is pointed out that the prevention work and early intervention require efforts from several services and professions. The interprofessional collaboration becomes important for discovering vulnerable children and families, but also for helping children and families getting the help they need. Through good interprofessional collaboration, it can be ensured that children and families receive comprehensive service offers.

The issue to shed light on the work with prevention and early intervention is: What challenges related to interprofessional cooperation does the child welfare service face in its preventive work and early intervention related to the youngest children? In order to examine the problem, a literature study has been used as a method, and the thesis has taken Norwegian research as its starting point. The purpose of the thesis is to shine a spotlight on the challenges that can be encountered in interprofessional collaboration, and to show why interprofessional collaborations is important for preventive work and early intervention. The assignment looks at the importance of interprofessional collaboration and preventive work and early intervention. Reference is made to various challenges linked to interprofessional collaboration, which will further affect the work with prevention and early intervention. The challenges are a lack of knowledge and competence about each other, capacity challenges, weak governance and management and the confidentiality rules. The paper concludes with consequences for children and families when there is poor interprofessional collaboration.
