Hvilken betydning har samarbeid og relasjon i ettervern, for ungdommens overgang til voksenlivet?

Abstract

Denne oppgaven handler om ettervern for ungdommer i barneverntjenesten. Oppgaven drøfter betydningen av relasjon og samarbeid for ungdommer, som er i overgangsfasen til voksenlivet. Det er brukt litteraturstudie som metode, hvor datagrunnlaget er innhentet med et kildekritisk blikk. Problemstillingen drøftes i lys av forskningsartikler og forskningsrapporter, som er basert på blant annet ungdommers erfaringer og opplevelser. Et flertall av ungdommene i barneverntjenesten med ettervern, har opplevd overgangen til voksenlivet som brå. Oppgavens drøftelse peker på at ungdommene har positiv erfaring av ettervern når de har en trygg kontaktperson å forholde seg til. Videre drøftes det samarbeid mellom barneverntjeneste og NAV, da ungdommer beskriver fasen som utfordrende, preget av uvisshet og at overgangen til NAV har vært vanskelig.

This bachelor thesis is about aftercare for young adults in the child welfare service. The thesis discusses the meaning of relationship and co-operation for young adults, who are in the midst of transition to adult life. The method used is literary studies, where the database is obtained with a critical view on the sources used. The issue is discussed through research articles and rapports, which are based on, amongst other things, the experiences of youth. Many young adults in the child welfare service with aftercare have experienced the transition to adult life as abrupt. The discussion of the thesis looks at the positive experience for youths in aftercare, when they have a confident person of contact to engage with. Further on the discussion focuses on the cooperation between the child welfare service and NAV (the Norwegian employment and welfare agency) since young adults describe the transition to NAV as uncertain and difficult.
