Sammendrag
The premise for this critical reflection text is my artistic development through 5 years as a student at the Academy of Fine Art in Trondheim, leading up to the master’s exhibition at Kjøpmannsgata Ung Kunst (K-U-K) in May.
I have divided the text into different parts—first, an introduction to the text.
In part one, I will discuss the theory of tacit knowledge, my ASD diagnosis, material exploration, the choice of installation art, and past work.
In part two, I will discuss the background for my master's project, including my involvement with ULLDAGA, a short history of felting, and the theory of slow art. I will also discuss my reflection on my work with wool for the master exhibition and the artists I´ve been inspired by.
Lastly, there will be my final reflections on the master project.
This text is not written to be academic but rather as a personal reflection on my artistry.
