dc.description.abstract
Everything is in flux, constantly creating new conditions and meaning, echoing the change in our society. This fluctuating state of becoming is not visible, and it goes unnoticed until a tiny moment is taken out from the flow. This thesis is an exploration into the concept of process as material, viewed from the autobiographical place, referring to Karen Barad's use of 'diffraction'. Exploring the materiality of the process through the experimental juxtaposition of various mediums, including physical and intangible media, vis-a-vis the notion of belonging. I will investigate the materiality of the process with the concept that perception is always partial and context-dependent every day. Clay will be used for the physical medium and vibration of every day as an immaterial medium.
