Forvaltningspraksis ved formidling av bergkunst. Ny teknologi skaper nye formidlingsmuligheter.

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven som sammenligner ulike metoder for formidling av Norges bergkunst, har som mål å se hvordan vi kan formidle bergkunsten med sine utfordringer på best mulig måte til publikum samtidig som vi ivaretar bevaringen av bergkunsten. Innen forvaltningspraksisen har vi beveget oss bort fra oppmaling som den mest optimale formidlingsmetoden og det har oppstått behov for nye og alternative formidlingsmetoder. I denne oppgaven skal fire slike metoder sammenlignes og drøftes for å undersøke om de vil kunne formilde bergkunsten samtidig som de bevarer den. Samt hvordan nye teknologier DStretch, VR og AR kan være og potensielt bli viktige verktøy innenfor formidlingen.

This bachelor thesis, which compares different methods for disseminating Norway’s rock art, aims to see how we can disseminate rock art with its challenges in the best possible way to the public while we at the same time are safeguarding the preservation of the rock art. Within the management practices, we have moved away from painting as the most optimal dissemination method and a need has arisen for new and alternative dissemination methods. In this thesis, four such methods will be compared and discussed to investigate whether they will be able to disseminate the rock art while at the same time preserving it. Also, how new technologies such as DStretch, VR and AR can potentially be important tools within dissemination.
