Abstract
En av de største utfordringene menneskeheten har opplevd i nyere tid er covid-19 pandemien, og turistindustrien er en av de sektorene som har blitt hardest rammet. Målet med denne masteroppgaven er å besvare problemstillingen «hvordan har små campingbedrifter utviklet dynamic capabilities for å oppnå motstandsdyktighet gjennom covid-19 pandemien?».
For å besvare denne problemstillingen har det blitt gjennomført intervjuer med tre campingbedrifter i Møre & Romsdal. De empiriske funnene viser hvordan bedriftene har utviklet dynamic capabilities som videre har hjulpet dem med å utvikle motstandsdyktighet som igjen har hjulpet dem med å navigere helskinnet gjennom pandemien. Resultatene viser, spesielt, hvordan bedriftene har brukt «enablers» til å utvikle dynamic capabilities. One of the biggest challenges that has faced mankind in recent times has been the covid-19 pandemic, and the tourism industry is one of the sectors that has been hit the hardest. The aim of this thesis has been to answer the problem statement “How have small camping businesses developed dynamic capabilities to achieve organisational resilience during the covid-19 pandemic”
In order to answer the problem statement and the research questions there was conducted three interviews with the managers of small camping businesses in Møre & Romsdal. The empirical findings showed how the case businesses had developed dynamic capabilities through a series of enablers in order to achieve organisational resilience that has helped them navigate through the pandemic quite unscathed. In particular, the findings showed how the case businesses had utilised enablers to develop dynamic capabilities.
