This bachelor thesis focuses on which factors that have affected the Norwegian housing prices in the period 2001 to 2021. Based on the research question we wanted to analyze whether the interest rate, income and unemployment rate have had a significant effect on the housing prices in this period. We concluded that the policy rate, income and unemployment rate had a significant effect in the period, but the lending rate did not. The research question got answered through graphical representation, theoretical discussion with market theory, regressions, testing of hypothesis and correlation coefficients.
