Oppleving av historisk stad gjennom lyd

Abstract

Denne rapporten tek føre seg og reflekterer rundt arbeidet med lydinstallasjonen Oppleving av historisk stad gjennom lyd. Arbeidet er gjort for å bidra til historieformidling på kystmuseet Herøy gard, som er ein gamal handelsstad og kyrkjestad i Herøy kommune i Møre og Romsdal. Lydinstallasjonen er skapa med intensjon om å engasjere publikum gjennom å gi eit forslag til korleis det kan ha høyrdest ut på sjøbua då Herøy gard var eigd av Sivert Olsen i perioden 1770-1812.

In this report, I will present and reflect on the work done creating the sound installation Oppleving av historisk stad gjennom lyd (Experiencing history of an historic place through sound). The project is made to contribute to the dissemination of history on the coastal museum Herøy gard, an old trading and church place in Herøy municipality in Møre og Romsdal county. The sound installation is created with the intention om engaging the audience in a immersive auditory experience portraying how it could have sounded like in the boathouse when Herøy gard was owned by Sivert Olsen in the period 1770-1812.
