Panels in comics exists as an entity parsing visual information, and as a unit of several sequences chained to a connected narrative and creative expression. As a form, it conveys both images and text. However, what influences are at work when determining panel arrangement? To answer this question for this assignment, we will examine comic panels and how the visual composition ties together content inside the panels, with the content of the page to create the fluency of cognitive reading process, the strategy authors make when arranging panels on the page, and the resulting display in the text.
