Vold i nære relasjoner

Abstract

Temaet for denne oppgaven handler om vold i nære relasjoner, og problemstillingen er «hvilken betydning har kunnskap om kommunikasjon når det gjeler å oppdage voldsutsatte barn?». Forandringsfabrikken har en sjokkerende statistikk som viser at 3 av 4 barn velger å ikke fortelle om det vanskeligste til barnevernet. Formålet med oppgaven er å belyse viktigheten av kunnskap til både kroppslig og verbal kommunikasjon for å kunne avdekke vold tidligst mulig. Oppgaven er basert på litteraturstudium, og ser på hvordan tilknytning i tidlig alder har påvirkning for senere i livet, samtalemetode med fokus på trygghet og kommunikasjon som verktøy, og teori om det å se det utsatte barnet. For å få innspill om råd og forbedringer har jeg sett på hva barnevernsproffene har å fortelle oss.

The theme of this thesis is about domestic violence, and the thesis statement is "what significance does knowledge of communication have when it comes to detecting children exposed to violence?". Forandringsfabrikken has shocking statistics which show that 3 out of 4 children choose not to tell the most difficult thing to the child welfare service. The purpose of the thesis is to shed light on the importance of knowledge for bodily and verbal communication in order to be able to detect violence as early as possible. The thesis is based on literature study that looks at how attachment at an early age affects later in life, conversation method with focus on safety and communication as a tool and the theory about seeing the vulnerable child. To get input on advice and improvements, I have looked at what the child welfare professionals have to tell us.
