Nøkkelord: sykepleie, hjerteinfarkt, motivasjon, helsefremmende interaksjon, kommunikasjon
Background: The background for the thesis is that lifestyle diseases are a growing problem in Norway, but also globally. There are still many in Norway who suffer a heart attack. Often it is lifestyle related. It is interesting to delve into this topic to look at what nurses can contribute to reducing risk factors in patients, which can also contribute to lifestyle change. Purpose / problem: The purpose of the thesis is to investigate whether nurses can help patients who have had a heart attack to change their lifestyle through a health-promoting interaction with the main focus on communication. The problem Method: This bachelor thesis is a literature study, where structured and systematic searches have been performed to find relevant research articles in various databases to shed light on my problem. Other theory and syllabus literature have also been used. Results: The results show that both nurses and patients appreciate an interpersonal relationship in nursing. Communication is a useful tool for creating good relationships and for achieving the goals you have as a nurse and in consultation with the patient. It also turns out that different communication methods can create a motivation in patients to follow recommended lifestyle change advice. Conclusion: Communication, relationship building and motivation are related. In order to achieve the goals you as a nurse have, it is appropriate to go forward to create a good relationship with the patient. It can contribute to many good conversations, which can have a motivating effect in dialogue about lifestyle change.
