|dc.description.abstract||During this project I have sought to explore the techniques and methods used in orchestral and hybrid trailer music. With this in mind, I have created three different pieces which are the core of this creative project.
The report will first go through some essential methods and techniques, after a short introduction to trailer music. That section offers an insight into methods related to trailer music structure, mixing, sample-orchestration and essential conventions that make music more appealing for trailer editors. The results of this thesis, which are in the form of music and sound design, are influenced by these methods. The report will go on to describe my work-process. Then it will go through each piece, and showcase some of the choices made during the creative process. Although techniques of composition are important to the results of this thesis, the technological aspects of the music will be in focus.
The full bachelor thesis consists of this report, the wave files for the music and examples of sound design which have been created for the music.||
