Inspisientens rolle som kommunikasjonsledd mellom ulike fagdisipliner

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven tar for seg inspisienten, dens oppgaver og dens rolle som kommunikasjonsledd mellom ulike fagdisipliner innenfor institusjonsteatre. I denne oppgaven får leseren en innsikt i hva en inspisient gjør under en produksjon og hvilke oppgaver en har i ulike faser av en oppsetning i tillegg til de ulike måtene en inspisient kommuniserer på. Den forteller også om inspisientens forhold til ulike fagdisipliner og hvordan kommunikasjonen er mellom dem. Oppgaven skal svare på hvilken rolle inspisienten har som kommunikasjonsledd mellom de ulike fagdisiplinene ved institusjonsteateret. Måten oppgaven er løst på er gjennom bruk av engelske bøker dedikert til nye og gamle inspisienter og et kvalitativt intervju med en inspisient som jobber ven Nationaltheatret. Formålet med oppgaven er å sette lys på en jobb som ikke får like mye anerkjennelse som andre jobber innenfor teateret og fortelle hvor viktig denne jobben er i tillegg til å forhåpentligvis fylle noen kunnskapshull.

This bachelor’s thesis takes on the stage manager, its tasks and its role as a communication link between the different departments within institutional theaters. In this assignment, the reader will get an insight in what a stage manager does during a production and what tasks the stage manager has in the different phases of a production, and also the different ways the stage manager communicates. It also tells about the different relationships between a stage manager and the other departments and how the communication is between them. The assignment is supposed to answer which role a stage manager plays as a communication link between the different departments at an institutional theatre. The way this assignment is solved is through use of books in english dedicated to new and old stage managers and a qualitative interview with a stage manager who works at Nationaltheatret. The purpose of the thesis is to shed light on a job that doesn’t receive as much recognition as other jobs in theatre does and to tell how important this job is and also hopefully fill some knowledge gaps.
