dc.description.abstractThis is a concept paper making propositions for MASS navigation in national coastal waters. The focus is on human factors and the interaction between automation and operators in a remote control centre, as well as seafarers on conventional ships interacting with MASS. Important element is to understand the hand-over process of command, from automation to humans in control, based on the automation on board the vessel as well as the infrastructure surrounding the vessel.en_US
