Abstract

Tittel: Veiledning: ADHD og rus

Hensikt: Hensikten med oppgaven er å undersøke hvordan sykepleiere kan veilede unge pasienter med ADHD som i tillegg sliter med rusavhengighet til å føle at de mestrer hverdagen best mulig.

Problemstilling: «Hvordan kan sykepleiers veiledende funksjon bidra til hverdagsmestring for unge pasienter med ADHD i rusbehandling?»

Metode: Denne Bacheloroppgaven er et litteraturstudium, hvor relevant forskning, fag-og pensumlitteratur og praksiserfaringer er benyttet for å belyse valgt problemstilling.

Resultat: God relasjon mellom pasient og sykepleier er viktig for å sikre god kvalitet på veiledningen. Pasienter med ADHD og/eller en rusavhengighet er en sårbar gruppe og det er mange ulike faktorer som kan påvirke veiledningen.

Konklusjon: Relasjonsbygging og god kommunikasjon kan spille en stor rolle i veiledningsforholdet mellom pasienter og sykepleiere, og fokus på dette bør starte så tidlig som mulig i behandlingsforløpet. Sykepleier som veileder må ta hensyn til pasientens alder, livssituasjon og bakgrunn for rusavhengigheten i kartlegging for å tilrettelegge veiledningen.

Title: Guidance: ADHD and intoxication

Purpose: The purpose of the assignment is to investigate how nurses can guide young patients with ADHD who also struggle with drug addiction to feel that they are coping with everyday life as best as they can.

Issues: "How can the nurse's guiding function contribute to everyday coping for young patients with ADHD in substance abuse treatment?"

Method: This Bachelor thesis is a literature study, where relevant research, academic and curriculum literature and practice experiences are used to illustrate the chosen problem.

Result: Good relationship between patient and nurse is important to ensure good quality of guidance. Patients with ADHD and / or an addiction are a vulnerable group and there are many different factors that can affect the guidance.

Conclusion: Relationship building and good communication can play a major role in the counseling relationship between patients and nurses, and focus on this should start as early as possible in the course of treatment. The nurse as a supervisor must take into account the patient's age, life situation and the background for the addiction to the mapping in order to arrange the guidance.
