dc.description.abstractTittel: Å mestre de psykososiale følgene av IBD. Hensikt: Hensikten med oppgaven er å finne tiltak sykepleieren kan iverksette for å støtte pasienter med IBD til å mestre de psykososiale følgene av sykdommen. Problemstilling: Hvordan kan sykepleier støtte pasienter med kronisk inflammatorisk tarmsykdom til å mestre de psykososiale følgene av sykdommen? Metode: En avgrenset litteraturstudie hvor systematiske litteratursøk ble utført i ulike databaser for å finne relevante forskningsartikler. Resultat: Pasienter med IBD kan mestre bedre ved å ha tilgang til informasjon og kunnskap om IBD. Sosial støtte fra familie, venner, kolleger og helsepersonell kan redusere psykologisk stress og være med på å styrke mestringsevnen. Konklusjon: Samtaler med sykepleieren kan virke helsefremmende og kan forebygge sykdomsforverring ved at man informerer om sykdommen, ulike mestringsstrategier og viktigheten av sosial støtte. Likevel burde dette kartlegges på forhånd for å unngå negative opplevelser for pasienten. dc.description.abstractTitle: Coping with the psychosocial consequences of IBD. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to find interventions the nurse can implement to support patients with IBD to cope with the psychosocial consequences of the disease. Topic question: How can nurses support patients with chronic inflammatory bowel disease to cope with the psychosocial consequences of the disease? Method: A limited literary study where systematic literary searches were conducted in various databases to find relevant research articles. Results: IBD patients can better cope with their disease by having access to information and knowledge about IBD. Social support from family, friends, colleagues and health professionals can reduce psychological stress and help strengthen coping skills. Conclusion: Conversations with the nurse may promote health benefits and prevent disease progression by informing about the disease, different coping strategies and the importance of social support. Nevertheless, this should be mapped in advance to avoid negative experiences for the patient.
