dc.description.abstract
Some research on innovation, complexity and newness can be found in the literature, although most of this research focuses on industries related to large construction projects or development of new products. But how do these elements affect the commodity-business industry? And especially, how do they affect to the success of the commodity-driven projects? Although some studies have been done on this type of industry, and on this type of projects, there are still gaps to cover like the connection between the named topics. Doing a study in this field is not an easy task and it requires reliable tools that can provide good results. This paper tries to develop a survey that allows the investigation of these elements within the commodity industry and especially how they can affect to the success of commodity-driven projects. In addition, the results obtained with the survey tests are shown since some interesting findings such as the difference of opinion between Leaders and Project managers were found.
