en praktisk "proof of concept" del.
rør-modul i FM-applikasjonen.
dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents a solution of the capture of equipment connectivity from
process simulations, and visualizes it by creating preliminary piping in the
layout discipline-specific application Facility Modeler(FM). FM is a knowledgebased engineering tool from the KBeDesign software portfolio.
The solution presented contains one high-level hypothetical part where a
general approach for such an implementation is laid out, and one practical
"proof of concept" solution. The practical solution implements the hypothetical high-level description and creates a minimum viable product of a piping
module within the FM application.
The produced model from the piping module, is based on inputs from import
of process data and the layout designer directly. This piping module supports
some interactive functionality and can export the produced 3D model to the
plant design software E3D.
