dc.description.abstract | In this practical Master´s thesis, I produce songs for established artists to find out if there are
any principles that can be followed to achieve greater commercial success. I discuss how to
apply overall principals such as balance between repetition/ variation, and balance between
typical and Novelty in relation to the segment one should hit with the music. You should still
take these principals with a pinch of salt, as they are most useful as a tool you can resort to,
rather than basing the music on them.
