opplevelser. | |
dc.description.abstract | This bachelor's thesis is about a female and a male dancer and their experiences in hip-hop dancing. In this assignment I will be using a qualitative interview method, and the dancers I will be intervjuing have been living most of their lives in Norway. The respondents come from different enviroments. They are a young adult and an adult. They both are involved in hip-hop dancing and have different types of experiences and level of involvement in the enviroment.
In the theory part I have written about self-identity, reflectivity and lifestyles aspects. I will be adapting Giddens' late modernity and self-identity theories. In the subject material I will explaing hip-hop development and its globalization. The data generated from the interviews are analyzed withing the use of the theories I have presented. I have done so to illustrate the differences between the informants and their marks. During the interviews I have found similar notions about hip-hop dancing and the culture. This finds have been integrated in my analyse of late modernity, self-identity and hip-hop development and globalization within the research informants' experiences. | |
