Barn som pårørende til alkoholavhengige foreldre

Abstract

Bakgrunn: Bakgrunnen tar for seg relevant teori, tidligere forskning, relevante sykepleieteoretikere, studiets hensikt og problemstilling.

Hensikt: Dette litteraturstudiet vil undersøke hvordan barn som pårørende blir ivaretatt, og hva sykepleier kan gjøre for å påvirke ivaretakelsen av barnet slik at det sikres god informasjon og oppfølging.

Metode: Det er benyttet litteraturstudie som metode. Et systematisk litteratursøk har blitt foretatt for å finne forskningsartikler som belyser studiets tema og problemstilling.

Resultat: Basert på resultatet fra de inkluderte forskningsartiklene, har det kommet fram tre sentrale områder som er av betydning for sykepleiers ivaretakelse; - Sykepleiers utfordringer - Barneperspektivet - Kartlegging og registrering

Konklusjon: Det er manglende fokus på barn som pårørende. Lite informasjon om tidsbruk og omfang, i tillegg til manglende veiledning rundt arbeidet, er noen av utfordringene sykepleierne møter i arbeidet med barn som pårørende.

Background: The background includes relevant theory, previous research, nursing theorists, the purpose of the study and theme.

Purpose: This literature study will examine how children as next of kin are taken care of by the healthcare, and what the nurse can do to influence the care of the child in a way that good information and follow-up are ensured.

Method: Literature study has been used as a method. A systematic search for literature has been made to find research articles that illustrate the study`s theme and problem.

Result: Based on the result made from the included research articles, three central areas has appeared, which is important for the nurses ability to take care of the children: - The nurses challenges - The childrens perspective - Mapping and registration

Conclusion: There`s a lack of focus on children as next of kin in today’s healthcare. Nurses face many challenges in the work with children as next of kin. Such as missing information and lack of guidance.
