Jeg ser i hvilken grad kirken harmonerer med de klassiske arkitekturprinsippene slik disse ble formidlet i renessansen. Dette gjøres ved bruk av teorier fra den første humanistiske teoretikeren, Alberti og den siste store humanistiske teoretikeren, Palladio. Jeg har et særlig fokus på byggets harmoni. | |
| dc.description.abstract | The thesis observes Francesco Borromini's Church of San Carlo all Quattro Fontane in the light of a humanistic architecture theory. I will see to what extent the church is in harmony with the classical architectural principles as understood in the Renaissance. This is done by using theories from the first humanistic theorist, Alberti and the last great humanistic theorist, Palladio. For the most part I will focus on the building's harmony. | |
