dc.description.abstract | This thesis presents theory about factors relating to knowledge sharing and applies it to knowledge transfer. The model used to structure the research is the ability-motivation-opportunity model. The product of the thesis is a new model specific to knowledge transfer in the semiconductor industry. The purpose of the model is to help project managers focus their resources on certain factors that positively influence knowledge transfer in a situation where a project member departs from the project and a new member joins. | |
