The studies done in this master thesis focused on building a Hardanger Bridge deck section model and developing an experimental method using pressure tap measurements for finding aerodynamic properties. The measuring instruments used in this master thesis were the TFI Cobra Probe and the DTC Initium Pressure Scanner. The instruments were used at an early stage of implementation at NTNU, without any major previous experiences. The wind tunnel section model was found not satisfactory in stiffness for the high turbulence intensities tested in the wind tunnel. However, the experimental setup and processing of data showed promising results that can be further improved to obtain higher accuracy. Additional suggestions and improvements to obtain high accuracy in final results were emphasized in the final conclusion.
