The world of composition and music production has been quickly changing in the last 20 years especially with the democratization of digital technology. This project seeks to illuminate these new practices and how they affect production and composition through the hybrid role of the producer/composer. The aspects of production, acoustics and the role of the producer/composer are explored in depth before showing case examples of how this role was used in different productions and compositions in a portfolio-like section.nb_NO
