dc.description.abstract | NORSK: Denne bacheloroppgaven er skrevet i samarbeid med Nye Notabene AS. Problemstillingen for
For å finne svaret
gjennom dybdeintervjuer, for å kunne beskrive situasjonen i Notabene.
| nb_NO |
dc.description.abstract | ENGLISH: This Bachelor Thesis is written in collaboration with Nye Notabene AS. The topic for the paper was
to examine the Willingness and Resistance to Change in Notabene. To provide answers to our topic
we made three hypotheses; The Willingness to Change in Notabene is high, The Willingness to
Changes is lowest among Store Managers, and any Resistance will appear as dissatisfaction,
demotivation, indifference and disobedience.
We have used quantitative and qualitative research. The quantitative data were generated through
survey and used to test our hypotheses. The qualitative data were generated through interviews, to
describe the situation in Notabene.
We chose to use two well-known theories in Change Management, Lewin’s Three-step Change
Theory and Kotter’s Eight-step Change Model. In addition we used Piderit’s Multidimensional View
of Attitudes Towards Change, and Jacobsen’s ten reasons for Willingness and Resistance to Change.
Our conclusion is that the Willingness to Change in Notabene is high, and that the Resistance among
Store Managers is not higher than among the rest of the employees. | |
