Utvikling av måleinstrument på romantisk-seksuell avvisning av single

Abstract

Formålet med denne studien er å utvikle et måleinstrument for romantisk-seksuell avvisning for single, som kan benyttes til videre forskning, da forskningsfeltet er mangelfullt. Dette ble utført gjennom act nomination-metoden. Utvalget besto av NTNU-studenter, med til sammen 452 deltakere. Det ble gjennomfør en skalareduksjon og faktoranalyse, samt utviklet fire hypoteser for å teste reliabilitet og validitet på målet. Validiteten ble testet gjennom valideringsmålene ensomsomhetskala, nevrotisisme og sosioseksuell orientering. En korrelasjonsanalyse ble gjennomført for å undersøke sammenhengen mellom romantisk-seksuell avvisning og de tre validerende målene, resultatene viste svake sammenhenger. Resultatene av en reliabilitetsanalyse viste en høy grad av indre konsistens og pålitelighet, og måleinstrumentet kan betraktes med god reliabilitet. Imidlertid kan ikke målet vurderes som valid ut fra det totale resultatet av analysene. På bakgrunn at resultatene i innværende studie er det nødvendig å utføre videre empirisk forskning på romantisk-seksuell avvisning av single for å få et valid resultat som kan benyttes i videre forskning.

The purpose of this study is to develop a measuring instrument for romantic-sexual rejection of singles that can be used further research, as the research on this subject is deficient. This instrument was attempted developed through the act nomination method. The selection consisted of NTNU students, with a total of 452 participants. A scale reduction and factor analysis was carried out, and four hypotheses were developed to test the reliability and validity of the measurement. The validity was tested through the validation measures loneliness scale, neuroticism and sociosexual orientation. A correlation analysis was conducted to examine the relationship between romantic-sexual rejection and the three validating measures, and the result showed a weak correlation between these. The results of a reliability analysis showed a high degree of internal consistency and reliability, and the measuring instrument can be considered to have good reliability. However, the measure cannot be considered valid based on the total results of the analyses. Based on the results of the current study, it is necessary to conduct further empirical research on romantic-sexual rejection among singles to obtain a valid result that can be used in further research.
