Sammendrag
Hensikt: hensikten med denne bacheloroppgaven er å få økt kunnskap om temaet ved å finne forskning som undersøker sykepleierens rolle i ernæringsarbeidet. Vi vil undersøke hvorfor pasienter med ernæringproblemer ikke blir fanget opp av systemet, og hva sykepleiere kan gjøre for å forebygge underernæring.
Problemstilling: Hvordan kan sykeleiere bidra til å forebygge underernæring hos eldre pasienter på sykehjem.
Metode: Bacheloroppgaven er en litteraturstudiet som gjennom fag og forskningslitteratur besvarer problemstillingen. Det er brukt 5 vitenskapelig artikler i studien.
Resultater: Ut i fra våre funn så kan vi trekke frem ulike temaer som er viktig for sykepleierens arbeid i å forebygge underernæring. Disse temaene er kommunikasjon, tverrfaglig samarbeid, kunnskap, gode verktøy/hjelpemidler og godt miljø.
Konklusjon: For å forebygge underernæring, må sykepleiere ha kunnskap om kartlegging og utredning av pasienter. I dette arbeidet er det viktig med godt samarbeid med pasienten, pårørende og med andre yrkesutøvere. Purpose: the purpose of this bachelor thesis is to gain increased knowledge about the topic by finding research that examines the nurse`s role in nutrition work.We will investigate why patients with nutrition problems are not caught by the system, and what nurses can do to prevent malnutrition.
Question: How can nurses help prevent malnutrition in elderly patients in nursing homes.
Method: The bachelor thesis is a literature study that answers the problem through subjects and research literature. 5 scientific articles have been used in the study.
Results: Based on our findings, we can highlight various topics that are important for the nurse's work in preventing malnutrition. These topics are communication, interdisciplinary collaboration, knowledge, good tools / aids and a good environment.
Conclusion: In order to prevent malnutrition, nurses must have knowledge of mapping and evaluating patients. In this work, it is important to have good cooperation with the patient, relatives and with other professionals.
