Tittel: Kroppspress blant mannlige idrettstudenter
Problemstilling: Hvordan opplever mannlige idrettstudenter det økende kroppspresset i dagens samfunn, og hvilken rolle mener de at sosiale medier har?
Teori: I teoridelen presenteres idealkroppen, kroppspress, sosiale medier og Festingers sosiale sammenligningsteori.
Metode: Dybdeintervju ble benyttet for å få svar på problemstillingen.
Resultat: 2 av 6 informanter hadde opplevd kroppspress. Samtlige informanter var enige i at hovedårsaken til det økende kroppspresset var de sosiale mediene.
Konklusjon: Det er individuelt hva som er viktigst for informantene når det kommer til kropp og utseendet. Sosiale medier og influencere har stor påvirkningskraft. | |

Title: Body-image pressure among male sports students
Research question: How does male sports students experience the increasing body-image pressure in today’s society, and what role do social media have?
Theory: In the theory chapter, the ideal body, social media and Festinger’s social comparison theory are presented
Method: Qualitative interviews were used to answer the research question
Results: Two out of six informants had experienced body-image pressure. All of the informants agreed that the main reason for the increasing body-image was social media.
Conclusion: It’s individual for the informants what is most important when it comes to body and looks. Social media and influencers have a great influence. | |
