Hvordan kan sosial støtte og inkludering i videregående skole være en ressurs for enslige mindreårige asylsøkere i det norske samfunnet?

Abstract

Temaet for denne bacheloroppgaven er enslige mindreårige asylsøkere i videregående skole. Ut fra dette temaet ble det sett nærmere på hvordan sosial støtte og videregående skole kan bidra til inkludering av enslige mindreårige asylsøkere i det norske samfunnet. Litteraturstudie ble brukt som metode for å undersøke dette. For å kunne svare på oppgaven ble teori som omhandlet hovedsakelig enslige mindreårige asylsøkere, sosial støtte og videregående skole brukt. I resultatdelen ble det gjort funn der sosial støtte ikke blir gitt i tilstrekkelig grad til de enslige mindreårige asylsøkerne både i skolen og i samfunnet generelt. Det konkluderes i besvarelsen med at de enslige mindreårige asylsøkerne kan ved hjelp av sosial støtte og videregående skole få styrket sine forutsetninger for å oppleve at de blir inkludert i samfunnet.

The theme of this bachelor thesis is unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in high school. Based on this topic, it was examined in more detail how social support and high school can contribute to the inclusion of unaccompanied minor asylum seekers in Norwegian society. Literature study was used as a method to investigate this. In order to respond to the thesis, theory pertaining mainly to unaccompanied minor asylum seekers, social support and high school was used. In the results section, discoveries were made where social support is not given to a sufficient degree for the unaccompanied minor asylum seekers both in school and in society in general. It is concluded in the answer that the unaccompanied minor asylum seekers can, by means of social support and high school, have their conditions strengthened in order to experience that they are included in society.
