dc.description.abstractThis project had to different objectives. The first goal was to study the metabolite pool of the cell lines HaCaT and DU145 in the different cell phases in the cell cycle. To obtain this data, the cell lines had to be synchronized. Synchronization was to be achieved either by serum starvation or double thymidine block. The second objective was to study the metabolite pool of HaCaT, DU145 and HEK293 treated with cytostatica. The goal was to detect possible trends for the different cell lines, and this would be the starting point for further testing. The data analysis was performed by using GC-MS QqQ and LC-MS Q-TOFnb_NO
