dc.description.abstract | Certain aspects of the Lorentz transformation, sometimes called beaming, aberration or transverse Doppler effect, induce viscosity-like effects on extended objects moving through radiation fields. In this thesis, these effects are investigated in the contexts of a cosmic background radiation and near a Schwarzschild star. | |
