Å bli kronisk syk i ung alder. Hvordan kan sykepleier veilede en morbus crohn pasient til økt mestring i en uforutsigbar hverdag?

Abstract

NORSK: Oppgaven er en litteraturstudie som tar for seg hvordan det å få en morbus crohn-diagnose kan føre til en uforutsigbar hverdag, og hvordan sykepleiere kan bruke sin veiledende funksjon til å øke mestringen av sykdommen hos denne pasientgruppen. Oppgaven er bygd opp rundt de forskjellige veiledningsfasene og hva som er viktig i forhold til disse. Konklusjonen er at gjennom veiledning vil pasienten få økt mestringsfølelse og kunne bli mer selvstendig i forhold til sin sykdom. Dette vil for mange føre til færre sykehusinnleggelser og mindre avhengighet til helsevesenet.

ENGELSK: This thesis is a literature study to find out how crohns disease can lead to an unpredictable life, and how a nurse can use her guiding function to increase the patients feeling of coping with the illness. The thesis is built around what’s important in the different phases of guiding. The conclusion is that through guiding, the patients will resive increased feeling of coping, and become more independent in relation to their disease. This will lead to fewer hospitalizations and less dependence of the health services.
