dc.description.abstract | Mass transfer rate of B during slag refining has been investigated in the resistance tube furnace at temperature 1600 ºC and the mass transfer coefficients of B have been determined. The values of mass transfer coefficients are 4.0*10-6 m/s for 46% SiO2 54% CaO slag and 8.04*10-6 m/s for 37% SiO2 48% CaO - 15% MgO slag, respectively.Diffusion measurement did not obtain the successful result due to the oxidation problem in the experiment. However the TG profiles measurement is a big achivement for diffusion experimental setup. | nb_NO |
