T-BOX Bærbar boks-simulator for laparoskopisk kirurgi

Abstract

Dette prosjektet er en videreføring av TPD4500 Design 9, Fordypningsprosjekt, hvor Amal Koshy Abey og jeg utviklet en bærbar bokssimulator for grunnleggende laparoskopiske ferdigheter i samarbeid med SINTEF og Nasjonal kompetansetjeneste for avansert laparoskopisk kirurgi (NSALK). Resultatet av Design 9 var konseptet "T-BOX". Dette konseptet manglet imidlertid mange detaljer og tekniske spesifikasjoner.

I masterprosjektet begynte jeg utviklingen av laparoskopiske treningsmoduler, men skiftet fokus til å utvikle den første funksjonelle prototypen av T-BOX. Selv om prototypen ikke ble fullstendig realisert på grunn av noe turbulens underveis i prosjektet, resulterte arbeidet i et langt mer gjennomarbeidet konsept enn i Design 9.

This project is a continuation of the TPD4500 Design 9 Specialization Project, where Amal Koshy and I developed a portable box simulator for basic laparoscopic skills in collaboration with SINTEF and the National Competence Service for Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery.

The result of Design 9 was the concept "T-BOX," which, however, lacked many details and technical specifications.

In the master's project, I began developing laparoscopic training modules but shifted focus to developing the first functional prototype of T-BOX. Although the prototype was not fully realized due to some turbulence during the project, the work resulted in a much more refined concept than in Design 9.
