Fra innsatt til fagarbeider

Abstract

Dette er en masteravhandling som er en del av studiet Master i yrkesdidaktikk ved NTNU, og bygger på en studie ved et fengsel i Norge.

Det er flere etater som jobber med og tett på de innsatte og et felles alle etatene er å gjøre fengselsoppholdet til de innsatte så likt samfunnet på utsiden som mulig, herav normalitetsprinsippet.

Problemstillingen som danner utgangspunktet for studien, er følgende: Hvordan kan ett strukturert samarbeid mellom skolen, kriminalomsorgen, helse og NAV styrke de innsattes muligheter etter endt soning?

Oppgavens teoretiske forankring bygger på Mary Jo Hatch og hennes organisasjonsteorier. Det ble valgt kvalitativ metode for å besvare materavhandlingens problemstilling, med intervjuer.

Funn i studien sier at etatene som jobber med og tett på de innsatte ønsker et enda tettere og mer strukturert samarbeid for å øke kvaliteten i tilbudet til de innsatte.

This is a master thesis that is a part of the study: Master in vocational didactics at NTNU, and is based on a study at a prison in Norway.

There are several agencies that work with and close to the inmates and a common all the agencies is to make the prison stay of the inmates as similar to society on the outside as possible, hence the principle of normality.

The following research puestion was created for this study: How can a structured collaboration between the school, the prison service, health and NAV offer the inmates opportunities after serving their sentences?

The theroretical foundation of the thesis is based on Mary Jo Hatch organization theories. A qualitative method was chosen to answer the research puestion.

The theory of this thesis is founded on the theories of Mary Jo Hatch and her organization theories. Qualitative methodology was used in order to get answers to solve the researcher question, with interview.

Findings in the study say that the agencies that work with and close to the inmates wants an even closer and more structured colaboration to increase the quality of the offer to the inmates.
