Abstract

Denne teksten tar for seg musikken til den protestantiske reformasjonen og hvordan den passer inn i Marin Luthers tanker om en ny gudstjeneste, i tillegg til hvordan den katolske tradisjonen påvirket det kulturelle uttrykket i samfunnet på den tiden. De samfunnsmessige forandringene reformasjonen og den tilhørende musikken førte med seg har derav en sentral rolle i dette perspektivet.

This text explores the music of the protestant reformation and how it fits into Martin Luther’s thoughts of a new worship service, in addition to how the catholic tradition affected the cultural and religious expression in society in that period. The societal changes brought about by the reformation and the music associated with it are therefore a central part of this perspective.
