Urinundersøkelser - Kompendium og instruksjonsvideoer

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven dreier seg om å produsere et kompendium som omfatter teori om anatomien og fysiologien til nyrene og urinveiene. Kompendiet inneholder også teori som omhandler urinundersøkelser, og hvordan man praktisk går frem ved utførelse av manuell og maskinell avlesning av urinstix, sentrifugering av urin, farging av urinsediment, tillaging av tellekammer og urin mikroskopering. Kompendiet tar også for seg teori og bilder om ulike elementer man kan finne ved urinmikroskopi. I tillegg til å produsere et kompendium skulle det også produseres instruksjonsvideoer hvor de ulike urinundersøkelsene ble demonstrert. Det ble produsert fire videoer, en for manuell avlesning av urinstix, en for maskinell avlesning av urinstix, en video som tok for seg hvordan man farger urinsediment for å lage klart et preparat, og til slutt hvordan man utfører urin mikroskopering. Det ble under arbeidet med denne oppgaven laget en enkel spørreundersøkelse som gav informasjon om hva studentene synes om nytteverdien av instruksjonsvideoer og kompendium i laboratorieundervisning.

This bachelor thesis revolves around producing a compendium that includes theory on the anatomy and physiology of the kidneys and the urinary tract. The compendium also contains information regarding urine examinations as well as how to perform manual and mechanical analyses of urine test strips, centrifugation of the urine, staining of the urine sediment, preparation of the counting chamber and performing urine microscopy. In addition to producing a compendium, instructional videos were also to be produced, in which the various urine examinations were demonstrated. Four videos were produced, one for manual reading of urine sticks, one for mechanical reading of urine sticks, a video that dealt with how to stain urine sediment for the urine counting chamber, and finally how to perform urine microscopy. During the production of this thesis, a simple survey was made that provided information about what the students think about the usefulness of instructional videos and compendium in laboratory lessons.
