dc.description.abstract | This bachelor thesis deals with the production of music in the genre drum and bass, and proposes production techniques that are suitable for achieving a “loud” mix. While working on the thesis, I have written and produced three songs in the genre drum and bass, and explored production techniques that characterize the genre. I have also taken a closer look at what makes a mix sound good and tested different techniques for mixing “loud”.
The assignment consists of a report, as well as three audio files containing each of the productions.
