| dc.description.abstract | «Allmennkringkasting, reality-TV og casting - En studie om castingprosessen til NRKs realityserie Norges tøffeste» er en forskningsstudie utviklet i samarbeid med NRK Tyholt. Oppgaven belyser sentrale aspekter ved allmennkringkastingsoppdraget, reality-TV, casting og radikalisering, samt sammenhengen mellom disse. Studien diskuterer hvorfor det er viktig for NRK å tenke på allmennkringkastingsoppdraget i castingprosessen til realityserien Norges tøffeste.
Som allmennkringkaster sitter NRK på et stort ansvar for å speile det norske samfunnet og Norges befolkning i innholdet de produserer. Representasjon, mangfold og utenforskap er følgelig sentrale temaer i oppgaven. | |
| dc.description.abstract | «Public service broadcasting, reality TV and casting - A study about the casting process for NRK`s reality show Norges tøffeste» is a study developed in partnership with NRK Tyholt. The thesis sheds light on key aspects of public service broadcasting, reality TV, casting and radicalization, as well as the coherence between these issues. The study discusses why it is important for NRK to think about the public service broadcasting assignment while casting for the reality show Norges tøffeste.
As a public service broadcaster NRK have to reflect the Norwegian society and population in the content they produce. Representation, diversity and exclusion is consequently central themes in the thesis. | |
