This thesis aims to examine how Asperger Syndrome is represented in contemporary young adult fiction by looking at 'The Curious Incident of the DOg in the Night-Time' by Mark Haddon and 'House Rules' by Jodi Picoult. The thesis looks at character portrayal, both of the main characters and secondary characters, and connects the findings to greater ideas within disability theory and social theory.nb_NO
