The thesis applied qualitative in-depth interviews in the form of seven interviews with key informants from different formal positions and geographical location, thus collected data material highlighted different aspects of the case. The results were analyzed by building explanations and comparing empirical patterns. Secondary data such as internal documents and report were applied to supplement the findings, hence strengthen the results. This thesis has an exploratory research design and some of the findings could be interesting to study in a follow up study. Overall, the findings indicates that the presence of industrialized owners and more strict regulations towards sustainability and ESG may accelerate the pace of internationalization within the industry, increasing the level of industry globality. The findings imply that that the industry is developing towards becoming more global, and seeking strategic alliances were seen as a sufficient way to enhance success entering the Greek market. As Turkey were seen as more distant, suggestions were to entering Turkey using direct export, then expand their operations at a later stage.
