Rolleavklaring og tydelige ansvarsområder er også nødvendig for å få samarbeidsmodellen til å fungere. dc.description.abstractABSTRACT Background: Through this master's thesis, inpatient care for women with postpartum depression, as developed by Orkdal DPS and BUP Orkdal, is described based on the current theoretical frame and research. In the “Orkdal - method”, depression treatment and simultaneous parental guidance / interaction guidance are given to women with postpartum depression. The woman is admitted to the 24-hour ward together with baby and partner. The purpose of the treatment is to achieve reduction in depression symptoms, while at the same time prevent psychologically maladjustment in the child. Purpose and issue: The aim of this master's thesis is to assure the quality of the treatment program developed by Orkdal DPS in collaboration with BUP Orkdal. The treatment is offered to women with postpartum depression in need of inpatient care. The main focus of this thesis is the interaction perspective between professionals. The following research question is answered: "The Orkdal - method – which points of view and experiences do the professionals have in the project to ensure good collaboration with the aim of providing good unisonous treatment to the patient group?" Method: The study has used qualitative method, and data were collected by means of two focus group interviews. Data were analyzed using systematic text condensation. Result: The experience of health professionals who have participated in the Orkdal - method shows the importance of common knowledge in such collaboration, as well as an explicit common ideal of knowledge. It is emphasized that one must have a general knowledge of the theoretical frame which the method is based on. Having a common understanding, - knowledge about each other`s professional practice, - knowledge transfer between professionals and equality in the collaboration are also highlighted as important. Knowledge of the method and guidelines which are followed are also important in order to provide good, unisonous treatment. Structural frameworks such as different medical records, different working hours, part-time positions and busyness affect the opportunity of enough information flow and meeting points to practice the daily collaboration. Collaboration through common plans, meeting points and effective communication between units are crucial in order to provide good treatment. Role clarification and clear area of responsibilities are also necessary for the functioning of the collaborative model. Keywords: Mental health, postpartum depression, interaction guidance, inpatient care, treatment, collaboration, interaction, Orkdal - method.
