- sikre at byggetekniske krav overholdes.
Summary This assignment is about the Wood Technology Center at Støren which is an intended building. The building is supposed to be Eco-friendly and have locally produced materials. The project desires the building to achieve the BREEAM outstanding certification. The underlying questions and thesis this assignment addresses are: How can BIM contribute to optimizing the product ordering process and can BREEAM Outstanding be verified to a greater extent? - How do a supplier want the order of materials to look like - What must be taken into account when ordering materials when using BIM (ArchiCAD) - What is the pros and cons when ordering materials through BIM (ArchiCAD) The building is drawn and constructed in BIM (ArchiCAD). The technical requirements like fire requirements and function requirements are analyzed and the data has been imported to BIM (ArchiCAD). based on this floor plan, section, facade, area and fire drawings have been created, as well as material lists and schemes for this assignment. The drawings and lists of materials have been analyzed and various solutions have been looked at against the thesis questions and underlying questions continuously. These have been assessed against relevant theory. The main finding of the thesis and what is important to remember when using BIM (ArchiCAD) is to: - Have the correct data in BIM, and to name the different elements early on. - Examine which fire requirements the building has, so one knows where to place the emergency exits and what the requirements according to fire safety are. - ensure that construction technical requirements are okay. - Ability to provide correct data in BIM depending on which building part is to be ordered, this can vary greatly and it can be complex with as many choices as BIM has in terms of what data is important and what is less important. - Know technical requirements well and have good internal control to ensure that all considerations are taken into account. Through the work, various challenges arose and some reservations have been made and restrictions set for this task. The thesis concludes that BIM can probably optimize the material ordering process and secure BREEAM Outstanding at some points, but there are certain prerequisites. Using BIM can be time-consuming and resource-intensive to use if you do not have: - Correct and quality-assured the data you put into BIM - High experience within construction and know the current requirements - Sufficient insight into the BIM program - Good internal control and uses experiential learning in a good and appropriate way - Opportunity to reuse the data in BIM in new projects
