Muligheter og Utfordringer ved Overgangen til et Skybasert ERP

Abstract

Denne bacheloroppgaven er skrevet av to studenter som studerer digital forretningsutvikling ved NTNU. Oppgaven er en kvalitativ studie om implementeringen av skybasert ERP i kommunalsektoren. Vi har kartlagt en rekke fordeler og utfordringer relatert til innføringen av et skybasert ERP. I tillegg til det teknologiske aspektet har vi fokusert på holdninger, da spesifikt endringsvilje og teknologiakseptanse hos kommunene i fokus. Vi har tatt utgangspunkt i fordeler og utfordringer ved skybasert ERP som tidligere er identifisert i forskning og kartlagt kommunenes synspunkter i forhånd til disse momentene. Gjennom intervjuer med ansatte ble disse fordelene og utfordringene kartlagt som også gjorde det mulig å få et inntrykk av endringsvilje og teknologiakseptansen i kommunene. Vi fant at det ikke var av noe stor betydning for kommunene om ERP-systemet befinner seg i skyen eller ikke, det viktigste var hvilke kvaliteter systemet har. Vi fant også at mange av fordelene vi fant i litteraturen relatert til skybasert ERP allerede var realisert ved den løsningen kommunene har i dag. Videre så vi at personlig kompetansenivå hos de ansatte var en viktig faktor i forhold til endringsvilje og teknologiakseptanse.

This bachelor thesis is created by two students studying Digital Business Development at NTNU. The thesis conducted a qualitative study about the implementation of cloud-ERP in the municipal sector. The introduction of cloud-based ERP includes several benefits and challenges that needs to be looked at in advance. Not only from a technical aspect but also in terms of the general change readiness as well as the technology acceptance of the companies in focus. By focusing on previous studies in the matter of cloud ERP-implementation we map multiple benefits and challenges applicable to the municipalities studied. Through interviews with employees these benefits and challenges were mapped which also made it possible to get an impression of the change readiness and technology acceptance in the municipality. We find that our interviewees were mostly indifferent about if the ERP-system is in the cloud or not. What mattered to the interviewees is the qualities that are included in the system. We also find that some of the highest mentioned benefits of cloud-ERP were already realised in today’s system. Finally, we find that the employees perceived personal competence is an important factor to determine their change readiness and technology acceptance.
