Lønnsomhetsanalyse av Fosenkraft Elektro AS

Abstract

I denne semesteroppgaven er formålet vårt å se på lønnsomheten til Fosenkraft Elektro AS. Vi skal da se på årene fra 2015 til 2020, der vi analyserer bedriften for å se om bedriften er lønnsom og om de kan fortsette å være lønnsomme i fremtiden. Vi skal se på lønnsomheten til Fosenkraft Elektro AS i sammenheng med et annet firma, Nyvold Installasjon AS, som tilhører samme bransje og utføre en benchmarking mot denne bedriften. Vi forklarer først vår motivasjon for å skrive om bedriften samt presiserer avgrensninger og gir et generelt innblikk i bedriften. Deretter går videre på å forklare teori brukt i oppgaven. Vi skal da gjennomføre intern analyse, ekstern analyse, bransjeanalyse og en regnskapsanalyse. Den interne analysen baserer vi på en SWOT analyse og den eksterne på en PESTEL analyse. Bransjeanalysen er basert på Porters fem konkurransekrefter. For regnskapsanalysen vil vi henvise til nøkkeltallene. Vi deler da nøkkeltallene opp i tre hovedkategorier, finansiering og soliditet, lønnsomhet og likviditet. Ved å analysere disse aspektene skal vi til slutt gi vår konklusjon på lønnsomheten i bedriften.

The purpose of this thesis is first and foremost to look at the profitability of Fosenkraft Elektro AS, within the time space of 2015-2020. As a result, we hope to gain an insight of whether the company can stay profitable in the coming years. We will also be conducting an analysis of the electro installation industry, by comparing Fosenkraft Elektro AS to Nyvold Installasjon AS through benchmarking. We immediately start by explaining our motivation for writing the thesis about this company, and further giving a presentation of the company. Consequently, we explain the theory necessary to conduct our analysis, in which we do an internal and external analysis, and furthermore an analysis of the industry and a financial statement analysis. Our internal analysis is based on a SWOT format following up with an external analysis through a PESTEL analysis. In the industry analysis we utilise Porters five forces and lastly the financial statement analysis is using through key figures. These key figures are divided up in three main categories: Financing and solidity, liquidity and profitability. By analysing these aspects of the company and industry we will ultimately give our conclusion regarding the profitability in Fosenkraft Elektro AS.
